This week is hectic for me, After the camp, i got a severe heat rashes and i din really go out loh. But no choice, i went out on tues to upgrade my starhub plan and wed to upgrade my singtel plan and in total, i earned 340 dollars. Y? Cause if u guys know ,there are people lookin for people that want to upgrade their plans but dun wish to get another hp. And i am the one, and they pay me to do it loh. LALA!! On thurs, went down and bought a new hp, not my one, my gf one. But i help fork out hundred plus for the phone. Its on my MSN now, the 7280, the stick phone. I am the one using it, cause she using my 7610. its a cool phone, small and sweet, everything is control by its Navi Spinner. It takes time to master it, but i sure is handling it well.
Alright, the fri, went out early for a magic warehouse sales. Ah.. Not really impressive as the sale is not really a sales. i din buy much in the end, my gf follow me along and see those performances and i sure like the mental magics, it KILLS my braincells. Got a new deck for sat's performance, no choice and went home after that, which is around 10.
Sat, the main event day. I am performing for the Youth Volunteer corps. Hmm some organization that help build up the youth volunteers in singapore. But the sad thing is, it rains in the morning. So we waited till like 1130 before i start to go out to the street with some of the volunteers. It is hard, for me and for them. First, no one want to buy anything from them, coupons or ballons. Very hard. As for me, getting people to see my magic is even harder. Singaporeans like always in a hurry. They wont stop abit. i have a hard time doing my magic, then i conclude to do to those that are standing and waiting or sitting around. Most of the time i did to children, cause they are waiting for their parents ma, which is buying ballons and i do some small loli pop trick to them. Hehe, and their expressions are very cute. They like the colors, but they wont go.. WOW!!! Then i met some american gals standing around. Approached them and did my magic, they are purely entertaining me first, like those fake wow. But when the magic happens on their hand, they really wow. Haha!!!
Alright the problem i have is also on sitting people, cause they also wont want me to disturb them.. Hmm, my gf said that most of the time they are afraid it is candi cam. So they are cons to them. Anyway, i tried to do to 2 indian guys, they are not really into it at first, and i did the wave of aces trick on 1 of them, the second one dun want to participate. So when i do the effect on the guy, his eyes pop out and ask me how i did it. Haha!! too bad i cant do it outside cine then, the guards chase us away. :(
Second half is more slacking, cause went tired. Drag a bit and its time to go home. And i was so tired, but still need to go to my uncle's house to fix his com. Hai.. Dun know can anot.. Cause i cant do it without another com, so i told him i give him the CD key when i reach home. Haha!!! Alright, brain dead. To me, its a nice exp, and fully understand how busking is all about. Damn hard. But i still like magic alot, the face they have when it happens on them is so encouraging. :)
