Today 1pm, marks the end of cheerobics 2006, well i still got 16 mats in my room. Anyway, going to return to the hall later. Now, Lets do a flash back on the week. It have been a hectic week, days of sleepless night just to complete the cheerobics and make it a success. Hmm mon and wed have been traveling to different places to get the license and things like that. But we cant get the license done because some procedures are not done, well there is always something that u can learn. Then have to go back for briefing for the finals. Then went to help the committee in the program and things like that. Tues, settle the license issue, ahh.. we kena big one from the inspector saying we are not doing a good job abt the application, so many things missing, so late to submit. Then in the end, he signed it, so if u ever need help from somone, all ur face muz throw out liao.. Then he will do it for u. Then we went down to met JAMIE YEO!!!! Oh my god, haha, i wearing slippers le.. In orchard, met her and we talk abt the program and then some chit chat, she is damn pretty, at her age, she is. Too bad she is married. :( Anyway, after that we went back to sch to do our packing. It took us very long, ah, some confusion occurs, and i hate it when ppl are slacking around. Nvm.. Anyway, i continue later, i going to knock out liao..
Alright, i came back to write some more.. Now where am i? Oh okie, hmm, Wednesday is the day when we need to move all the stores over, but i got a freaking test also, then i din study, damn it, no time and energy to do it, din went for any class, but went to take the test. Ends up there is a few extra ppl taking the test, and thus not enough paper, then have to print for me. While the lecturer is gone, they are discussing the answers, damn it, so sad for me, i din get to know the ans. Hai.. Anyway, the paper itself is not hard, but not enough time for me to do, sad.. :( but i dun really care liao, went all the way down to start the loading, it was hell of the time, so many damn things and we onli start going off at 9 plus, reach TPY hub around 10, then start the unloading.. Actually, the suppose fact is that i dun need to unload, but ends up i am doing the unloading also, and so i was down shack once. Thats juz the starting, i cant start the mats setup because there is paddles of water and also the stage is not at the right place. Damn, WE MOVED the WHOLE STAGE to the BACK loh!!! It was fun when some jokers cannot move an inch. Haha!! Anyway, the gals joined in to do the stage before they continue to do their stuffs, then start to spread the mats and the vip chairs and tables. Then carry the barricades in, and its heavy, good thing because we dun wan the barricdes to collapse. Then done, its left with the goodies bag. My side, most of the stuffs are done, except the fact tat the van have not arrived, cause some idiot told my driver to meet him early when the thing going to end like 11 or 12. Then work on the admin and planning till like 3 plus and then send the rest back to rest except some log to stay behind to look after the stuffs. Then so i stayed over, then 6:30 my logs went off back and left me alone. Starting i cant take it anymore that my eyes are closing off, but after a while, when the sun came out in 7:15 plus, i okie le, because the sun is gazing on me, lucky man, then i walked around to put the paste board because people are very curious to know what is happening.
Then 9:30 came, and my committee starts to come along, then i thought i could sleep, but ends up cant, cause cant sleep liao, walked around talking nonsense and doing some jobs. Seriously, i forget what i done, but i onli know that i was kept busy until 1, when the teams are arriving for dry runs. Anyway, i continue later, cant think well..
Okie, Once again, i backed. Talking abt the cheerobics on that day, moving around from place to place, on walkie, its like a huge project, and indeed its a huge one, crowds start to form even when the dry run was out. Then when 4 is near, jamie yeo arrived, oh god, she's gorgerous!!! Ah!! went down to the holding area to meet the RSU, talk to them awhile, and met some other team, xiwen's team, elias' park, mgs, aces. Anyway, that reminds me abt something. Track back, i was moving the mats from SRC out to the truck, then i was moving alone, (actually it can be done with jack) but some idiot used our mats and din arrange well, so its collspe the moment i pull the pallet out, but 2 RSU guys came immediately to help. But before hand, they asked me whether i need anot, but i mention its okie, but when it falls, they rush over to save the situation, help me to unload some mats and rearrange them, SEE!!! How nice Thai ppl can be, no matter what teams we are from.. Anyway, after some arranging, guess what, SECA's guys came to help also, so suprising that got so many ppl suddenly.. Hmm, anyway, they did helped me alot, so thanks man.. Now back to the story. Finally the event start and i was damn tired liao, cause i din wash up sleep and also eat. So u see me so active, is alreadi a miracle, thats y i cant be mad, no energy. Haha!! Anyway, the starting was good, crowd was drawn by RSU first performance, it was a simple routine, (They make it a point to make it simple, so that the whole event wont look like singapore's standard is low) Then the catergoy starts.. All the while i was not station in one point, move from point to point, crowd to crowd, telling ppl to move on and make the flow of traffic. So until the end of secondary cat, i din get to see much, manage to see blast's full routine, choon boon one also.. cause of ppl keep doing stunts outside, and i have to stop them from doing. and got this guy that spoils my day, it was MGS' turn and i f need to go and get him down from the chair. And he was standing on BK's chair, if u saying my chair, okie, maybe i give u the chance until the performance ends, but its not my chair, its other ppl's one. And he dun seem to bother, cause he keep saying, i not coming down x 100 times (like a small kid loh) Ya i know everyone wants to see the performance, and the sight is limited, it always happen, if u forsee that, u should have came early, so dun blame us for not able to see. I keep insisting, in the end, he din get to see the performance, whats the point when u have to argue with me and u dun get to see in the end. Then his gf beside me told me she will get him down and sorry for the trouble, y create a scene, u make urself look like a shame. Anyway, he did came down, if he dun, i will get the bk manager to talk to him le, since its their property, if he dun, i will get the security of the hub le. :) anyway, then comes the open cat, where everyone was waiting for. Well, generally, those that is reading my blog will have seen the performance. So hmm, ACES is good, they improved alot, and its good to see that they keep up their routine and no major falls. :) Warriors was very sad for me, their routine din went up well, because of the hugh crowd? Hmm, i was really hoping they will win. Then magnum, hmm, guys dun be sad, but once the first stunt drops, i know it should be over. :) Sorry to say that, but i believe most of you guys agree with me, cause the juniors will be feeling so bad that they wont be able to concenrate le. It reminds me of the performance at taka.. Anyway, hmm the rest of the teams are not that important, everyone was waiting to know which of this 3 teams' will get first. Once the performance ends, magnum gals are crying liao, seems like they know their result alreadi, hmm, i feel really bad that i cant be part of it, cause i part of the whole event. Anyway, the result is ACES first, Magnum second, Warriors third. MGS first, Blast 2nd, Choon Boon third. MGS good job, a great come back and it marks how strong a team can be after a fall. :)
What can i say to Magnum then? Magnum, yes, indeed we lost in this year's cheerobic, but nothing was lost except the title, the spirit, the passion, the hardwork should not be forgetten and we won all those. Magnum have a long history of cheerleading, but because of the constant winning, we have been blinded and we forget the most important thing to cheerleading, the showmanship, the spirit, the passion. We have become a team that desire to win, but its wrong to think that way, because we are cheerleaders, we lead to cheer, cheer to lead. We dun join cheerobics to show that we are No. 1, but we join cheerobics to promote cheerleading, show ppl what cheerleading is all about. Indeed, title can be very important, but it is worth it? Talking about getting 2nd, is it indeed that bad? Last year and this year, have been a bad year for magnum, alot of internal problem occurs, alot of changes happen this year, but that does not stop us from joining cheerobics, from not believing that we can win. now the conculsion is, we got 2nd, but because of all this, we still be able to pull out a 2nd, its indeed is a blessing in disguise, in the coming competition, we will prove to the rest that magnum will come back better, stronger. And 2nd place is a starting point of a new magnum, a mangum that was run by passion cheerleaders, not juz winning cheerleaders. I will strongly encourage the juniors/to be seniors to work hard towards this goal and make it happen, there is no forever champion, even BU falls before, i think everyone will agree on that with me, using this fall, learn the difference, bring the difference, and this competition also tells u how strong basic is needed, how strong a person's desire is needed to be.
Thats all that i can thought of, in short, i wont give up magnum and i surely hope that no one will give up on magnum, and indeed lenny is happy for us that we are still as strong as ever, but indeed we need to be stronger than before. As for SAF, they really improve alot, :) no doubt, as an open cat that is mixed with ppl from different schools and societies, stunts are pull out so well, but the pressure is there and keeping them from excel, but i believe nxt time round, it will be a great challenge for both teams, because we are now together, fighting together, i believe 2 team can really learn alot when bother are swapping pointers for each other, and yes, in the end we can onli have 1 winner, but in every competition, luck is also a strength, so we should say that when luck is there, everything was there. :) So lets all fight for the first place, and maybe nxt year's cheerobics, there will be 2 first place. MAGNUM and SAF WARRIORS!
