Okie, I in the lab now, nothing to do, bored. Well, need to read up the stuffs before i can get them started, but its very vain. I din pick this task and i explain y ba.
Yest is the opening of this DIP project thing, woke up early and went down to the briefing, and it sucks to the core. Wasted my time, i went back shortly. 2pm is the individual project briefing, so went to the lab and listen to another crap. Okie the project that i am involved in is Design and Installation of Wireless System. Okie, i know, its crap, and NP taught us Cisco Networking le, so this is bullshit. But dun care la, juz install and configure need 25 people in this project, corny right? And for freaking 5 WEEKS!!! EVERYDAY 9-5!!! I know liao, i wanted to die. Anyway, as i said, dun care, get my grp, 2 great guys and we decided on the task we wanted to do. WLAN management. Familiar? Its not tough, one of the most interesting thing in Wireless LAN is the management le. But then the problem comes. Our project coordinator, a student, is too easy going, he let everyone choose the topic they wanted, so ended up, the last grp dun have a choice, but they dun want to take up the task: General Functions. Its the most easiest task for presentation, but needs lots of read up. So their ideal choices are VPN or WLAN Management. Clash with us.. Then decide to pick lots between the 3 grps, VPN, us and them. But the VPN swipe away the responsibitly and said its our problem. First of all, its a grp project, so i dun wan to start the arguement at first day. I hate it when they think its not their problem, then we decided to pick lots, but so they insist that its not their problem, then comes the coordinator, trying to convice us to take up the task. As stubborn as i can, i told him that he have to be firm and be fair to 3 of us. But he like nothing he can do, a low graded coordinator he is. Then the supervior came and started the debate again. He is not helpful also, it goes on for 10 min, with no way of solution. (Its easy, fair to everyone, every grp draw lots, thats it!) But no, the discussion goes on that who is unfair who is fair. Oh my god!!! Eventually, i gave up, i told my leader that we take the general function and give the grp the WLAN management. Sick of the arguement, what the f the coordinator is doing man. So we took this task and i have to refocus the things we need to study.
Its tough for the rest of my members, my leader also, cause general functions are too wide, so i told them it is better to read up everything on the manual, and me will come up with the baseline of the report, before we get started. So then comes again, the grp with the WLAN managment came by and said they feel bad. To me, What the f! You created such a scene, and now u feeling bad, if u think u will feel bad, take the task and shut up, in reality, u cant choose. F them, so now i am here, reading up the whole manual, siao, its hectic man. And this com lab dun have msn, cant install also. its really oh my god.
