I blogging from work!!! Well, work is boring now. Nothing much to do, the reading the company's system and products. And I spent the whole day reading yesterday, today going to have the same thing happen. Ah.. Boring, cannot use msn also.. Even more bored. Sian.. Anyway, I should get back to reading.

Oh to add on, I think I going to blog everyday about my work, so that I can write my report after the 6 months, then can read what happened everyday. Yap!! Okie.. Here goes for yesterday: 08/01/07
First day of working in AREVA T&D, a company that does power electronics design for customers. Hmm, to describe more, I belong to a department called PCM, also known as the Automation department, so basically, the job scope is the customer will require us to design a control system for their power network, then we using, the products in AREVA, make a good, automated control system for them. Introduction from the HR personnal, and then we moved to each department to talk to our head, then we are given each a stack of documents to read. about the products, and also the software that we used to do the mapping of the control system. My first impression for this job is surprised, its about the same as what I wanted to do, doing mapping system for projects. Last time I did for process control, but this one is power control. Well, the difference is more on the products, last time, I deal with cylinders and air tube, now is power supply and power relays. Of course, if got the chance to go back to cylinders, I wont mind, but now under IA, so learn something different.
Basically, the whole day was spent on reading the notes and explaination of the devices by the superviors. And get to know a few seniors that was once a NTU student and now is working in AREVA.
