Ok, Technically this event happened on 2007, but it seems that it affects the first day of the school term. (Today is my first day coming back to school offically)
So this goes like this, I doing my FYP, and of course I finished it (The part i suppose to do) And so, I waiting for the Prof to drop by and see how we going. Technically,I din go up to find him, in short. Then last friday, where he came down, but I not around, so he din know what happened, and nothing was going on (Actually alot of things was done la, like control of the robot, my part) So monday, yesterday, he came down like quite disappointed, whatever, today I went to see him, knowing that sure kena from him.
So in short, really got from him, cause I din find him after i done the things, then we wasted quite a while doing things slowly. Then of course when he came down twice, he din see me, that is like double blow. And so today, he told me that he is disappointed. OH well, who to blame? No one does the approach and so I guess its should be me to blame.
Today it also started to rain and such, hopefully the weather will be good later on. Actually I just want this sem to pass peacefully, I dun care whether I get distinction also, Just want to finish this. Ya, cause I hate how things work here, very hard to explain, but its just not an environment to encourage learning and projection. Like siti said, HATE is a strong word, and I really mean it, I hate it.
In NP, ya, we also spend 1 year doing our project, yes, we also have to go to school everyday, even holiday, yes, we also got a lab, lecturer incharge and lab tech incharge. Its almost the same, exp for one thing, the environment.
In NP, we played while we had our work, here, everyone is to himself, no communication, chitchat, gaming, whatever. NP, we had lunch together, we called each other when the lecturer is looking for a particular person and he or she not around, we helped each other whenever another of us got problem, be it some unrelated stuff.
Here, no, if we cannot find someone, no one cares. I mean, how to work for a competition if all the team mates are not communcating together. I only talk to the post grad guy, joke with him, whatever. But not the rest. Believe it or not, its all PRC people, which they are all fighting for As and so, they care less about others around them.
I should go back to NP if I din get what i wish to do in my career, hmm, I believe of returning what i gained back to the place that taught me. And I believe NP deserve contribution far more than this sucking place. Here, Just hire all PRC prof, and then make it a PRC uni, not NTU.
