I just finished a show like 4pm, then nap until like 9pm before waking up fresh. LOL!! So basically, this is what happened:
Woke up like 8am, prepared to move off and meet my frenz at her home, got the stuffs, and we set off to Sentosa. And we landed at a place called one degree 15. *Break* (That damn place is super cool, and the club house is like OMG) So basically, IF you have to chance to step inside, take a look around, but its only for members aka Rich people.
Okie, at the club house, we did a briefing of what going to happen, did the setup aka deco to the KTV room, and suppose we have to do a deco on a boathouse, but well, the boat is on a back to back event, so the clean up only ends like 1230 or so. So I was given the task to deco the boat while she was performing then. Which is after i finish my mascot task. OH.. I am the mascot for this party event.
So everything was fine, I even got the number from the balloon guy so that I can meet him up after I finish my work and we can work on the boat. Problem No 1: I got the wrong number without realising, and it marks the fatal mistake that I going to make later on.
So, I finish off my work as a mascot and prepared to move off to the boat. *Break* They got this mahjong room, with the ELECTRONIC MAHJONG TABLE. That is freaky cool, I thought i never got to see it, but its damn it. Basically, you dun have to wash the tiles or stack it, the table will do it for you. LOL!!.
So I moved off to the boat while calling the balloon guy. Obviously cant get through. Problem No 2: The boat was blocked by another boat, so I cannot see the name. I know the size of the boat, and I know there is 2. But I don't know the other boat's name except the one I saw infront of me. And I know that is not the one. So Desperate moments, I tried to recall the name but cant, then i went to find my boss for help, which the fatal moment is. My boss asked me for the boat's name, and I dun remember, and he was angry, cause its a lack of responsiblilty from my side, and I realise that damn he was right, I should have found out even this detail so as to know where the hell the boat is, and not guessing where the boat is. So end story is, HE IS DAMN PISSED. I also sad, but he manage to find out from the waitress.
So I found out that the boat is behind the stupid boat with big deco, it totally cover the boat that i wanted to find. (Damn it) And the boat is at the furthest part of the quay. To cut short, I totally ran like a few Km back and fro to settle the deco and balloons. Which finally, the whole event ended.
The fun part is, I worked as a mascot and the kids juz like to hug me. LOL!! (By the way, they are cute gals) But hey, I not hitting on them, just feel that hey, its cool you know, to be able to entertain them that bit. Well, Certainly learnt alot. Esp this kind of event, its not easy. I thought its nothing big deal, but well, still, every details count. :)
